Bags to Church

Every six months or so Betty Moss organises a collection of good quality used clothes, blankets, curtains, soft toys, belts, handbags, shoes, sheets etc. This helps to raise money for church funds. The April 2008 collection raised another marvellous total of £130 for church funds.
The April 2009 collection raised £316 and £120 for the October 2009 collection. Thank you to all who supported the collection.
Please continue to save all your unwanted items for the next collection on May 14th 2010.

Monthly Pram Service

Started in September 2009, the Pram Service is a relaxed, informal gathering aimed at children under five and their parent, relative or minder. There are drinks and biscuits for all, together with a gentle introduction to church songs, prayers and stories. For more information please phone Ann on 567821.

Details of all services

20th December 6.00 p.m. Carol Service with refreshments and short entertainment in village hall after service.
24th December 11.00 a.m. Crib and Pram Service. All children and parents welcome to this gentle welcoming of the baby Jesus in which the children are invited to place a figure or an animal in the Nativity Scene.
24th December 11.30 p.m. Midnight Communion. All are invited to this candlelit service taking us into Christmas Morning with traditional Carols and hymns.
25th December 11.00 a.m. Family Communion to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
27th December 11.00 a.m. Harrogate Bellringers New Year Service. This is a joint service with the Harrogate Bellringers and our Church congregation. It will give the opportunity to reflect on 2009 as it draws to a close and the chance to look forward to the new year as it approaches. In previous years this has been a very uplifting service and is one not to be missed.
